Kinsey is a homage to our original distillery along the Schuylkill River, which once held the world’s largest collection of aging whiskies.

Legend says the Amarone’s creation was accidental. When a cask pf Recioto over-fermented, the aromatic wine inside was an unexpected joy. One of these casks was shipped from Veneto to Philadelphia to be filled with our Kinsey Bourbon whiskey.
