After collecting his winnings he visited his cousin Slim in the Appalachian Mountains where he learned all about his great grand uncle, “Lucky the Bootlegger.”

In 1929 Lucky avoided prohibitionists, government agents, and jail time to create a Bourbon Whiskey second to none.

That was nearly 100 years ago. He was lucky he wasn’t caught.
