The Rikka

In Japanese, Rikka refers to the beginning of the summer, with hot days and slightly chilly evenings. Conceived by Stanislav Vadrna, this fruity yet complex short drink is just enjoyable at an outdoor patio than at the counter of a speakeasy bar.

Ingredients

2/3 oz Nikka From the Barrel
1/2 oz Luxardo Triplum
1/2 oz Silvio Carta Mazzini Rosso Vermouth
1 barspoon of Briottet Crème de Cassis de Dijon, Black Currant Liqueur
Orange zest

Directions

Mix the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange zest.
